Learn, understand and gain independence

Learn, understand and gain independence

Support to move forward at your own pace

Tourne-Pages is for adults aged 16 and over who wish to improve their reading, writing or numeracy skills. Whether it is to better understand documents, fill out forms or become more independent in their daily lives, each person receives support tailored to their needs, goals and circumstances.

An accessible and caring service

  • Individualized and personalized support
  • Respect for each person’s pace
  • A caring and judgment-free environment

We also support newcomers in improving their functional French skills, with a focus on their everyday lives.

Learning through real-life situations

Learning is directly connected to the participants’ everyday reality:

  • understanding a letter or document
  • filling out a form
  • improving reading and writing skills
  • developing basic skills

Goal: greater independence in everyday life.

A tool for independence, social inclusion and dignity

Tourne-Pages helps participants better understand their surroundings, assert their rights and fully participate in community life.

Learn differently: through action

For those who wish to participate, an immersive learning component is available.

By taking part in volunteer activities, participants can:

  • put their learning into practice
  • build their confidence
  • feel useful and involved
  • build connections within their community

Learning by doing gives practical meaning to what is learned.
