How Does Transportation Assistance Work?
A volunteer will pick you up at your home, accompany you to your appointment, and drive you back home once your appointment is over.

We serve the municipalities of Richmond, the Township of Cleveland, the Township of Melbourne, Kingsbury, and Ulverton.
How Does the Meals on Wheels Service Work?
According to the schedule you choose, our volunteers deliver a hot meal to your home, including soup, a main course, and dessert, of your choice.
The service can be provided on a regular basis or upon request.

What Is the Process for Becoming a Volunteer?

A member of our team will then contact you to complete the process.
Do you conduct criminal background checks on new volunteers?
Yes, we conduct criminal background checks on all prospective volunteers.
Additional checks may also be carried out depending on the service provided.
For example, when the use of a vehicle is required as part of the volunteer work, the validity of the driver’s licence is verified.
Can I Become a Volunteer Even If I Have Very Little Time Each Week?
Absolutely. A few hours a week can make a difference.
We also welcome volunteers with occasional availability, particularly for special events, as well as those whose availability varies from week to week.
